A:Penpal inmate does not charge a fee for the public to use this site. You will only be required to pay your own postage if you choose to write an inmate.Some inmates accept e-mail.If they accept email we will include a link on their profile.

A:Penpal inmate only gives you info on how to write to an inmate if you wish to visit your penpal you must arrange that yourself
Q:Can I send a photo of myself to an inmate.
A:penpal inmate only gives you the information you need to contact an inmate by mail. Whatever information you choose to share with you penpal has nothing to do with this site. Pictures sent via email will not be sent to inmates. You must mail any photos you wish to send to them.
Q:Are all the inmates violent criminals?
A:No,many inmates are facing non violent related charges. Please keep in mind that yes there are many inmates facing charges for violent crimes,but some have changed their life in a positive way and really need a friend.
Q:I know someone in jail who might be interested in joining this site.How can I get them an application?
A:Just e-mail us their mailing info,name and inmate number and we will mail them a form within 7 business days.Our e-mail is listed below.
